Love and Fear

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful seasonal break.  Christmas and the New Year is a good time to reflect on our lives and how we impact on the world.

We are told that there are only two emotions, Love and Fear. All the other emotions are subsets of the these two.  As we are coming into the age of Aquarious and beginning to move out of the materialist age into a more compassionate and nurturing era, this explains why so many people are feeling more dissatisfied with ‘stuff/things’ and are seeking something else.

This missing link is by living in the present with love and gratitude for all that we have. Many of us have realised the importance of our relationships and for me this is the most valuable aspect of my life. It is the knowing that we are all connected – a collective consciousness and that we impact on each other. If we are sending out positive vibrations into the world through our love and gratitude this will be ‘felt’ by others in our presence (the Heart Math Institute states love is the stronger emotion and therefore will help others feel uplifted and is called entrainment).  I am sure many of you have been in the company of others who are feeling down or angry and felt the difference to when they are in a good place.

As I said  the most precious gift I can be given by friends and family is the gift of their love and time spent with me.  The activity, if any, is umimportant.  I feel blessed and full of love when sharing time with those I deeply care for.  In fact, I regularly send out love to all sentient beings in our world and beyond as well as to Mother Earth herself (her atmosphere, biosphere, ionisphere and geosphere) because research by the Heart Math Institute shows that this has a positive effect and of course is far greater when more of us do this.  So the more we are full of love and gratitude coupled with faith and trust that everything will be okay, then we are lifting the planet znd ourselves in a positive manner further towards ascension.

The law of attraction states that what we give out we receive back, so sending out love also means that love will be returned (it doesn’t always happen to be the person you gave the love to though). It also states that what you resist persists. In other words whatever we give focus on we tend to bring into our lives, so being full of love and gratitude will bring in more positive aspects to our lives and if we’re always complaining, stressed or negative we are more likely to get more of the same as that we are complaining about.  Love of course, is a much more pleasant experience so when you are feeling stressed, fed up or another negative emotion, acknowledge it and allow it for a short time. But then think of something that makes you happy ie sing a favourite song or recall a happy occasion or look at a treasured photo.  Do something to change the vibration that you are in and feel, sense, know that you have changed  this vibration to a positive one.

Love is what makes the world go around – you only have to see when there are disasters how people will help each other in any way possible regardless of whether they know them or not.  Why wait for a disaster to strike… make the most of each day by telling those you love how important they are to you… say nice things to others if you think them. If someone you don’t know is wearing a lovely skirt tell them so – it will make their day.  Paying it forward is good, being kind costs nothing. So I dare you to do or say five lovely things today, one must be to yourself and another to  a stranger…

Lets create a world that is full of love, wonder and awe!

Blessings and much love for 2012

REJOICE IN THE JOY

Life is a gift and I am trying to make the most of every opportunity to enjoy it. But Ive been feeling a bit up and down like a yo-yo as the date comes ever closer to my son emigrating to Oz with his partner on 24th September. This Saturday (27th August) was definitely one of the highs.  My niece was getting married in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead at the Church I sang in as a chorister aged about 11. I thought we were going to be lucky with the weather as the sun shone when I awoke – the previous day it had been raining vociferously and torrentially all day. We arrived and the sun was shining, everyone was looking happy and uplifted, after all it is a pleasure and joy to take part in a couple’s celebration of their love.  I wandered round asking family members to pose in different combination as I knew this was my last chance of us all being together for a long time and wanted to capture the joyous smiles for eternity.

Everyone obliged me and I managed to get all the combinations bar one that I wanted as the rain kept intervening (my ex with our two gorgeous daughters – yes I am biased). Even the rain didn’t dispel the cheerful disposition of everyone as we all took refuge in the Church or Boxmoor Lodge the reception venue. The day passed by without any hitches other than my tiny grand-daughter who loved her ‘princess’ bridesmaids dress but wasn’t always a smiley bunny for the photographer as she is shy.  However, Grace became braver later and chatted away. I was so proud of her and Josh as they are only three and nineteen months respectively and they behaved impeccably especially being the only children there. The formalities of speeches, cake cutting and first dance been carried out, it was time for the dancing and the little ones to go home to bed.  The floor was empty so my daughter Kelly and my two future daughters in laws Helen & Hannah and I decided to liven things up a bit… we felt sorry for the DJ or was that what we told ourselves. Anyway we had a thoroughly good time and it did encourage others to venture up eventually.

I really enjoyed myself talking and laughing with my children, catching up with my ex husband and his family. So although I had a few wistful moments in the Church when the vows were taken (I was with my ex husband for 32 years) fortunately it was with fondness and a tinge of sadness that it hadn’t worked out ‘until death do us part’. But it was lovely that we were able to sit and chat amicably with ease and comfort. It showed me just how much I had grown over the grieving period of loss  and that I could finally and happily engage with him without any tears. I was pleased for the good times we had and the wonderful children we had created in our loving times together.  I am so glad that I have never held anger or bitterness at the outcome of being the one who was ‘left’ and was grown up enough to realise that everyone deserves to be happy and I have always wished him well and even secretly thanked him for the revelations I have learnt about myself since the divorce.  There always is a silver lining although at times it is more difficult to find.

The good news is that some of us will be flying out in a years’ time to Matt & Hannah’s wedding in Brisbane which will be a great reunion and celebration – another joyous occasion as a focus (unfortunately my granddaughter Grace will have just started ‘real’ school and so my daughter and her family won’t be there – we all do what is best for our children and as a shy little one it is more sensible for her to integrate with the other children and get a good start.) I am only human so I do have the odd tear or two at the thought of Matt being so far away but I know that we did well to bring up a well rounded, adventurous and loving child who follows his heart and instinct.  Skype of course will help us to keep in contact which is a great tool.

So I am rejoicing on all the wonderful aspects of my life and not dwelling on the challenges. I feel so full of love for all my wonderful family and friends and say thanks everyday for them. We only have now and so maximise this time with fun and gratitude.  I am truly blessed!

Access to Consciousness

In the last post I mentioned a few of the great speakers but I didn’t mention the lovely Rikka Zimmerman who is so bubbly and full of life. I loved her workshop at The Festival of Enlightenment in Colorado and was so chuffed that Darius’s You Wealth Revolution 2012 Summit had a free replay of her calls.  Rikka is a gorgeous being and her work is amazing and the clearing is instant. It’s a true wow and I released lots of tears (that’s my main way of clearing).

So if you want some free healings the replays are only on for a short time so here’s the link and get listening asap

Enjoy Your Life

Wow! What a wonderful time I’v e had in the US. First I was in Arizona for a week experiencing the energies of the vortexes in Sedonna which were amazing. At Bell Rock we had a peace pipe ceremony with Jeannie who is half Native American Indian followed by a meditation and Sequoia aromatherpy oil reading.  During the week we visited the Native American Indian museum, meditated at the Chapel with a huge crystal blessed by John of God in Brazil, we also participated in a Native American Indian campfire ceremony and visited the Grand Canyon.

One thing surprised me was how overcome with emotion I became once we got onto the Navajo Indian reservation. Tears started to stream down my face and I wondered why because I hadn’t realised where we were. When I realised we were on the reservation I thought well that’s interesting perhaps its a past life experience or my being in tune with all the heartache suffered by the Ancestors.  Arriving at the Grand Canyon I was so full of emotion I just sobbed.  It was quite weird in a way because the energies and emotions I experienced far outweighed those of the vortexes.  I realised that although I had only booked onto this trip at the last minute it was obv iously something I was meant to do and I am so glad I listened to my intuition. On the reservation I purchased some Native American instruments including rattles and a cedar wood flute inlaid with turquoise crystal in the note of F.  It sounds lovely and I know need to learn how to play it properly (the great thing is that it’s really intuitive so I don’t have to read music to play).

After Arizona I flew to Colorado where I went to the Festival of Englightenment which had many inspiring speakers and fabulous attendees. Everywhere I went everyone was helpful and kind (it always pays to be open minded and not take on others ideas of what Americans are like eg brash, loud and arrogant).  It was like a big family/community of spiritual people all coming to learn and share ideas.  I saw the three people I wished to see such aas Mahendra Kumar Trivedi (Guruji) and had a blessing, Joel Young (UK) and learned about NPa and Panache Desai (US) who says we are all perfect as we are and should do things because we want to. There were others who were also very good such as Howard Martin from Institute of Heart Math, in fact too many to list here.  We had opening ceremonies in the morning to set the Intention for the day with poems, affirmations and songs and the closing ceremonies were in a similar vein.

The views were outstanding from the red rock mountains in Sedonna (Arizona)to the snow capped peaks in Estes Park (Colorado)with elks and squirrels out and about (the odd bear in the distance).  I felt totally blessed to be in the space of serenity and bliss with lovely people and glorious views.  I had blessings and healings as well as taking plenty of notes from the seminars.

The over riding message is how important our emotions are as our guidance system to help us to follow our intuition, to love ourselves as much as we do our best friend or partner, to acknowledge our emotions and sit with the negative ones because once you accept them they will lessen and dissolve and to feel as positive as possible. Scientific research indicates that when we are feeling good we  transmit good vibrations which other people around us can feel too (often they will entrain to the stronger emotion). Science shows that this doesn’t just happen in our local space that whatever the majority of people on earth feel affects our world an its surrounding atmospheres. I was shown graphs of how the world was feeling at 9/11 and Princess Diana’s death and it was quite amazing to note that the peak of emotion started to build ‘just before’ the tragedies occured as if somewhere inside us we knew that a terrible upsetting event was about to occur and responded accordingly.  (for more info contact Institute of Heart Math).

Having had such a fabulous time I am just about getting back into the swing of things… I didn’t feel any jetlag on the way out and just missed a nights sleep but returning it has taken me a week to recuperate (I forgot to do my jetlag EFT protocol which has helped me previously).  That’s taught me a useful lesson (I am human and walk my talk most of the time but as I had to run for connecting flights etc I forgot) to remember to do jetlag protocol everytime I travel.

In summary Live Life to the full! Love is all there is so love yourself and share it with others – this is all we have to do to help heal ourselves and the planet.

Unity & Compassion

The natural disasters that are occuring more frequently around the world are assisting in us being compassionate for others living in amidst the pain and chaos, highlighting the fact that we are all One – in other words reminding us of our Unity Consciousness.

It allows us the opportunity to sending healing and love throughout the world - regardless of race, creed, political beliefs, religion or anything else that has been divisive in the past.  This natural selection process is Mother Earth’s way of recycling and renewing herself.  The good souls who have been selected to pass over ‘signed up’ before they came to the Earth plane to take away negative aspects of humankinds karma, so that those of us remaining will be able to ascend with the Shift as clearer vessels.  What a wonderful deed they have done for us all!

However as humans, with our feelings and emotions many are suffering and grieving their losses, so I implore all of you reading this to send healing & love to everyone worldwide who is grieving the loss of loved ones.  Also remember to say ‘thank you’ because you are alive and well, able to enjoy the sunny day, hear the birds sing and to be with your loved ones here on this physical planet we call Earth. Gratitude helps us to keep our vibrations on a positive level so that we attract more good experiences towards us to help us move forward and ascend. It is no good getting too caught up in the pain and loss just creating more negativity so sending healing and thanks is a wonderful way of doing ‘your bit’ for others. When we keep our vibrations high we help others to resonate at this higher level which ensures that more and more we are growing and healing as a collective.

I am sending love, light and laughter throughout the World, Galaxy and Universe to each and every sentient being.

Lots of Love & Healing,

Dee xx

World Sound Healing Day 14th Feb

Join hundreds of thousands throughout the planet for the 9th Annual World Sound Healing Day on Monday, February 14, 2011. At 12 noon Eastern Time, sound AH for 5 minutes created and projected with the energy of compassion and love. Send AH as a Sonic Valentine to Gaia, our Mother Earth.

The purpose of World Sound Healing Day is:

To positively affect the Earth through the use of sound To bring awareness of the power of intentional sound To create conscious community using sound for planetary healing

Anyone with a positive intention to enhance the consciousness of our planet can help co-create World Sound Healing Day. You don’t need to be a singer or have any musical ability to take part in this event.

On February 14th, Jonathon Goldman and thousands of other like-minded individuals will be sending a Sonic Valentine to the Earth as an event he calls “World Sound Healing Day”. For five minutes, meditators, peace activists, sound healers and many others throughout the planet will project the heart sound “AH” filled with the intention of peace and love.

“The “AH” is a universal, non-denominational heart sound that when projected with focused energy is extremely powerful and effective,” Goldman says. He believes that creating a global sound such as the World Sound Healing Day “AH” will create a transformational wave of energy that will positively affect the entire Earth.

An internationally acclaimed author (including Healing Sounds and The 7 Secrets Of Sound Healing) and award winning musician (including “Chakra Chants”, “The Divine Name”, “Ultimate Om” and “2012: Ascension Harmonics”) Goldman has found that sound coupled with intention has the ability to heal and transform: He notes that “The Global Consciousness Project at Princeton University which measures the effects of global meditations and prayers has collected data on a prior World Sound Healing Day. So has the Global Coherence Initiative which measures the geo-magnetic resonance of the earth.” Here are the Global Consciousness results of a prior World Sound Healing Day: http://www.healingsounds.com/sounds/wshdResults2010.asp.

Goldman adds: “While we can’t necessarily draw specifics about the meaning of this data, it certainly shows great promise with regard to the potential of intentionalized sound such as we create on World Sound Healing Day to help manifest positive shifts and changes on our planet.”

This 9th annual World Sound Healing Day, like its predecessors, will consist of both individual and group sound activities occurring throughout the planet. Thousands of people, not only in the United States, but also in many countries in Europe, Asia as well as Australia, will be sounding with the intention of creating peace and harmony on Earth.

For more information on World Sound Healing Day, please visit HealingSounds.com. There you will find a “World Sound Healing Day” section with articles on suggested sounds, visualizations and toning techniques as well as well an “AH” sound you can download and tone along.

I hope you found this useful. So whatever time you are able to sound AH (even if its different to the allocated slot)  then do so as this not only helps the planet but will also be helping to heal and rebalance your own heart chakra.

How Our Emotions Affect Others

David Hamilton was recently discussing Science and the Sentive and said that during last year (2010) developments in the study of emotions and a specialized set of brain cells known as Mirror Neurons had shone a light upon one way in that we are able to sense the mental and emotional state of others.

David said that when you see any expression on a person’s face, these ‘mirror neurons ‘ are activated and they stimulate all the muscles necessary for you to make the same face. In a sense you mirror their expressions, and it’s completely unconscious. So if you hang around with happy people you will probably find yourself smiling more because they are smiling, and not just because of what they are saying or how they are acting, but because of how they feel.

This is because as well as the mirror neurons replicating the same facial expressions, they send a signal to some of the emotional circuits of the brain and these replicate the emotion that accompanies that facial expression. So you end up feeling how others feel.

This direct transmission of emotional state from one person to another is known as ‘Emotional Contagion’, and refers to the contagiousness of emotions. We’ve often said that smiling is contagious and gets passed around and its good to know that science can finally back this up. So go on, pass the smile around…

In the same way,  if a person said they felt fine but underneath they were suffering emotionally. They might be able to successfully hide their true feelings from you on the surface, but from time to time there will be tiny flashes of emotion on their face, as well as pupil movements and even body gestures, that are so subtle and so rapid that no one is consciously aware of them.  But, these expressions will betray their real feelings because your mirror neurons will pick them up. And, of course, they will stimulate your mirror facial expressions as well as the emotional brain circuits that correspond to them, so that you get tiny flashes of emotion. You just have a feeling about the person.

Indeed, these emotions are the emotions that the person is feeling. In this way, you literally sense how they are feeling. It is pleasing that science has now  come to understand this aspect of intuition as a real phenomenon and not something to be dismissed as in the past. It also explains why you started out feeling great but then when in the company of someone who is feeling down you feel drained.  So choose your company wisely and ensure that you dont take on ‘others’ stuff.

Bright blessings,

Dee xx
